Makeup Colour AnalysisYou spend a lot of time doing shopping, you spend a lot of money on your clothes but at the end of the day you open your wardrobe and you think: “I have nothing to wear”! Have you been ever wondering why it is happening to you? Have you ever thought about doing your colour analysis? Colour analysis will help you to find the colours which suit you best. Thanks to that you can find your style, look better and feel better. Image consulting, which were commenced by companies like Colour Me Beautiful or Tadlea Shades of Beauty, are based on theory of colours form XIX century. The Munsell’s colour theory (followed by all artists and colourists in the world), assumes that there are 5 basic colours: red, yellow, green, blue and violet. You can wear them all provided that the shade, intensity/strength and clarity are suitable for you. This should be checked against your skin, eyes and hair colour. There are 4 groups of human colouring which are named after seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. During image consulting session you would be assigned to one of them. If you want to do it on your own you can try. However, you should be aware that there is no “mixed” type, so you should investigate your natural colouring carefully before you pick up your group. All types can vary with regard to the intensity (from delicate colouring, through light till dark). You can check out your type by trying different colours on you and judge which suits you best. The best colouring for you should make you look “healthier” and “fresher”, the colour of your mouth and eyes should be more “visible”, and appear to be “brighter”. Now you are probably wondering which type is yours. You should note that the individual colouring cannot be matched following a description or a photograph (as cameras often “loose” natural colours). You can either go to a consultant or try to do it on your own. Spring:Skin: your skin is pale, can have delicate “goldish” or peach shade. You often blush. If you have some freckles, they are “golden”. You tan easily; your tan can be even dark-brown. Eyes: Your eyelashes and eyebrows are usually darker then your hair. Your iris can be blue, green or any colour between those two; very rarely happens that a “spring lady” has golden-brown eyes. Between the pupil and the iris you can notice sharp border in golden or golden-brown colour. Hair: When you were a child you were blond. Currently your hair is a bit darker, with golden or “honey” shades. You can have brown hair as well with golden or reddish shades. Summer:Skin: you have pale, “porcelain” skin with pinkish tones. Blood vessels can be seen easily. Your skin can be also „cold-olive”. If you have freckles, they are usually gray. If your skin is not very pale, you tan easily; the colour of your tan is then “cold-olive”. Eyes: your eyelashes and eyebrows seen to be ashen/gray, never golden. You have brown, blue or gray eyes. Hair: When you were a child you had blond hair. Currently your hair is darker; it can be “ashen”/gray or brown with gray reflections, never golden! AutumnSkin: your skin is light. Your complexion is ivory or intensive golden-beige/peach. You tend to have freckles and red marks on your skin. You don’t tan easily; your tan is usually red. Eyes: the colour of your eyes is “topaz”, brown, golden-brown or green. You can have steal-blue or blue eyes with golden stains. Hair: When you were a child you were blond. Now your hair is much darker. Currently the colour of your hair is blond, red or brown. Your hair has always golden reflections. WinterSkin: you can be a type of “snow white” with porcelain skin which appears to be almost “translucent”. You don’t blush and don’t tan easily – if you tan your suntan can be delicate, olive shade. You can also have olive skin – then you tan quickly, your suntan can be dark-olive. Eyes: your eyelashes and eyebrows are dark. Your eyes are also dark; the colour of your eyes is “pure”. Your eyes can be dark-brown, green, navy-blue, blue or light-brown. |
